Good music doesn't grow on trees. But that hasn't stopped composers from seeking inspiration among them. Indeed, the environment—be it the expansive Alaskan landscape, the undulations of the sea, a prismatic crystal, or even just insects in the woods—has been a veritable horn of musical plenty from as far back as we can trace in our music history text books. See, the hills really are alive with the sound of...well, you know the rest.
Tickets are $10, general admission and $5 for Contemporary Museum members and students with a valid ID.
